BRING YOUR GROUP TO THE BREMERTON
BUG & REPTILE MUSEUM

We are excited for your visit to the Bug & Reptile Museum!

  • We are a free self-tour museum. We do not offer guided tours.
  • Plan for 45 minutes to an hour to really absorb the museum. 30 minutes for very young explorers.
  • We are a small museum. Groups work best when they are limited to 20 students and a handful of chaperones. If you have a larger group, please plan to stagger your visit to allow time to wander and observe our critters.
  • Prepare for your visit with free lifecycle coloring pages, printable scavenger hunts and fun activities.
  • Schedule groups of 10 or more for your adventure with us

TO SCHEDULE:

We ask that groups of 10 or more schedule your adventure with us.

In years past, not scheduling has led to overcrowding and less than ideal experiences for your students and our creatures. We want your young curious minds to have the best experience possible.

Please email help@bugmuseum.com at least two weeks prior to your visit. We are open from 10 am - 5 pm every day. Let us know the best date and time for you and we'll check our calendar to make sure there are no other groups scheduled for the same time.

We are a free museum and are planning to keep it that way. It is an honor to welcome everyone, no matter their financial situation. We do appreciate your donations and recommend $1-2 per student. We want to remain open and continue to foster interest in the natural world. We appreciate your support in educating our community about our creepy crawly friends.

CHAPERONES:

We noticed class chaperones sometimes seem a bit lost or uncertain of their roles and responsibilities at our museum. We've created a handy (and printable) guide to help. Please share this with your teachers and other helpers prior to your visit.
